FoFAM H2020 project launches its questionnaire on AM in Regional Innovation Strategies (RIS3)
Its purpose is to explore the regional Advanced Manufacturing value chain,with especial focus on Additive Manufacturing (AM). The final goal is to pursue effective cross-sectorial and cross-regional interactions by promoting alliances in alignment with the research and innovation strategies for manufacturing of the European regions.
The questionnaire is divided into two parts, starting with general information and continuing with specific questions about the expertise, as a region, on AM technologies. It can be found and filled HERE
With the information gathered, FoFAM will produce a public report to provide a global overview of the capabilities and the existing key infrastructure with regards to Advanced Manufacturing in general, and Additive Manufacturing in particular, in European regions.
Later on, a database will be created and integrated on project and the European Additive Manufacturing Platform webs (www.rm-platform.com). Moreover, a Regional Experts working group will be created for further analysis and validation.
The information provided may also be used for policy recommendations by the end of the project and serve as information for future RIM Plus documents.
